Colorful Yosemite Valley Acrylic Painting Tutorial

Happy National Park Week! I was inspired to create this acrylic painting tutorial of my favorite National Park, Yosemite! :) This is a little more impressionistic than my usual style, but I wanted a nice happy colorful painting for this week. Enjoy!

Fantastic tutorial. I love how specific you are with the shades for each ridge, and the sketch first around the little "+"center. I am a beginner. I wanted to make a gift for my son who asked for wall art for his apartment. The family went to Yosemite this summer so I decided to try. I know my Half dome turned out way too close/big...but I Love it!!!!! I was going to attach a photo but not sure how.

Love this painting of the famous tunnel view, I have lots of photos from over the years and it's sad how many dead trees there are in the valley, mostly from drought and beetle infestation.
