I love your art style and how you use the materials. I got my start in painting with Winsor x Newton, they're a good brand. I still love their Rose Madder Genuine (from the professional range) for adding a bit of depth in skin tones. Good luck in your art journey!

I don't understand the hate for this guy. If your focus lies on coloring, I think it's perfectly fine to trace AI for the sketch. He doesn't steal from any specific artist does he? He must also have decent skills when it comes to sketching because you'll need a good understanding of 3d form for colouring as well. He probably just wants to save time because he loves colouring.

look at references. Xiao's skin is much paler than others so you need to keep that in mind. it also should start with a yellow hue but then layer on top colours that may fit better in the scene, for example if it's a purple scene, lightly add purple onto the pale yellow. that was a quick explanation so any questions please ask!

this guy traces only so don't come here. i recommend channels like kuroshiro, and oridays. i also recommend (while it is boring) learning fundamentals of sketching and anatomy. always use references when learning but never trace like this guy. tracing leads to bad understanding and only seeing things in 2d. believe it or not, anime illustration is based off 3d objects. anymore questions feel free to ask!
