This one was historical. To the point I recently watched The Killer, and this is on sync with that. So many secrets that I was hoping to know, reading the ASC, and stuff...and now that I'm more prone to study Terrence Malik and Chivo, throwing the towel (cause nobody talk about Fincher's DI color), suddenly I stomp across this...Amazing. Thank you very much Cullen. 🙏

Very nice guy:) You often ask for HDR's opinion, as if you expect someone to say something negative. I wonder to what extent it's a business thing and to what extent it's a functional thing. It looks to me like Dolby Vision, when Dolby lost the money from the sound patent on film material, they quickly figured out something to cash in on.

Cullen; I've seen most of your videos--a lot! They are informative at a depth that is, sadly, not well represented on KZbin. BUT your end--your image and the overall visual impression of your KZbin shows--seems dark without the lift of a hint of brightness and overly soft. Occasionally, even a Zoom guest on your show looks sharper. Example: your Ravengrade guest Stephen Nakamura. I realize you are going for a subdued film look. But even film looks are usually, sez I, somewhat sharper and have some highlight in the scene. In short, it comes across as visually dull, and not (the current holy grail) "filmic." Otherwise, love your shows. And how about a better camera and even streaming your shows in 4K?
