A perfect way to wrap up my first active year on KZbin. Y’all are so awesome.
To celebrate this milestone I take on one of Animenz’s most ridiculous arrangements if not his most ridiculous. But I make it even more ridiculous lol. This is basically a demonstration of how far I’ve come this year as a pianist. Striving to post monthly not only came with growing an amazing community but it also pushed me to greatly improve my technique & arranging skills as a result of practicing more frequently. I could never perform this piece as fluidly last year, as well as other pieces I performed on my channel in the past few months. All I can say is thank you guys for this incredible year & all the love you showed on my vids.

Thanks Richard! I doubt I'd be able to keep up this stamina on an acoustic piano unless I trained on one for very long. I've gotten so used to my lighter keyboard and practiced this song long enough that the stamina required here wasn't as challenging anymore.

Hahaha I was expecting this comment! Those double hand jumps are harder they seem. When practicing I always hit the E octave instead of the F by accident on the second jump & I realized that it actually creates a really cool dissonance, so I ended up adopting it as my default way to play that part of the guitar solo. So technically it’s an enhancement & no longer a “mistake” 😂
