Cape Town is a beautiful city with a painful History. I love visiting museums and historic sights but struggled in Cape Town. I have not and will probably never visit the former Jails, Detention Centers or anything of that saught. But I am thankful that through so much pain the people have overcome and continue to do so. Capetonians are lovely people. Although there are still glaring reminders of the past, change is happening and it takes time. Sometimes much longer than we wish and hope..
