When I work on videos, I tend to work late into the evening. It's an extremely cathartic experience, and I greatly enjoy the solitude that it brings me. This video is an expression of that thought process. Many of the clips were originally filmed for videos that were never released, although I took liberties to update some of them. Each clip encapsulates a thought, or idea, that was never finished. Eventually I had enough clips to make a whole video, but then I realized that many of those clips had to be re-shot to meet the new standards I am using.
In the end, this video is about the solitude of the video creation process. In a way, there are several stories being told in the video. The reality, however, is that this is likely nothing more than a beautiful video for most people. Perhaps, if you are like me, you will be somewhat reflective while watching this.
Enjoy,

This video was partially filmed as a tech demo utilizing DX10 and SteveFX's DX10 Scenery Fixer. Every scene was filmed real time with FRAPS, so there is almost no "cheating" happening by slowing down the simulation and speeding it up in editing.
