Anandi is lost in the thoughts of Alok and suddenly, Nandini drops her toy and distracts her. Anandi lifts the toy and tries to give back the toy to Nandini, who refuses to take it. Seeing this, Dadu comes there and changes Nandini's toy with Shivam's toy, and finally Nandini accepts the toy. On the other hand, Jagdish takes Ganga back to the Badi Haveli and seeing her come back, everybody is relieved. Next morning in Udaipur, Subhadra creates a fuss on the breakfast table and goes to call Anoop. Subhadra comes to Anoop's room and asks him to come for breakfast, but Anoop is busy speaking on the phone and cancels his meetings for the day, as he has an urgent matter to attend to. Hearing this, Subhadra asks Anoop where he is going and on coming to know that he is going to the police station, to accept the responsibility of the stolen antiques which Alok has claimed to be his, she tells Anoop to let Alok be in the jail when he has accepted the responsibility for the stolen goods. Unable to bear the burden of his guilt, Anoop bursts out on Subhadra and drags her downstairs. Watch the episode and know what happens next.
Set in rural Rajasthan, 'Balika Vadhu' traces the arduous journey of child bride Anandi (Toral Rasputra) from the brink of childhood to womanhood. Married at the tender age of eight, Anandi had to accept and accustom herself to a new family of strangers and accept her roles as a friend, lover, wife and a daughter in law during childhood itself. Now, as a young adult, she faces new challenges as she tries to carve out her own identity in the world. 'Balika Vadhu' very sensitively portrays the plight of children who are unwittingly forced into marriage, in the name of tradition, and have to bear the repercussions for the rest of their lives.
