The Maulavi who is getting the nikaah done says that there marriage is illegal because they both have been divorced previously. The Maulavi says that only if Aliya marries someone else and the person who marries Aliya gives her divorce on his own consent, then only she marry Zain again. The Maulavi says that only this route is legal in the Shariyat Law and is known as Halala Nikaah. Seeing all this, Suraiya is happy and tells Zain and Aliya that this is their destiny. Both Aliya and Zain are heart broken and sad at this turn of events. Aliya breaks down and goes inside the room and seeing the Holy Quran, starts reading it to look for an answer to this problem. Will Aliya find an answer to her question and problem? Watch the episode and know what happens next.

From my understanding, a halala nikkah can only happen naturally, and you cannot do it with the intention of returning to your previous spouse. So if the divorcee naturally marries someone else and then they divorce, and she goes back to her former spouse.

This rulecis here so men don't abuse divorce. This rule came because people kept divorcing and marrying the same women and basically was using the women. Marry when they want and divorce when they want. To protect women this rule came from Allah.
