I am willing to go ahead and watch this video an probably some other ones because they are nicely colored and realistic looking however I do not believe that it is absolutely necessary to do really visually appealing work in order to have a sense of victory or to be given a victory and rewarded. You can just have fun instead however it's only because i'm really bored or something if I want to learn this nice way too.

Joan Porter I think because she used white to burnish the colors and blend them, just guessing.

Part of it is just understanding color theory and how the colors change as you blend them together as well as the amount you use of each. Chris is a master at this lol.
