Colossal Failure of Alstom and Ottawa's LRT

Ottawa's Confederation Line LRT has been plagued by problems since it opened in September of 2019. Although the City of Ottawa themselves was the cause of the problems, Alstom's trains were the biggest factor.
In this video, we will explore the history of how Ottawa's LRT system came to be, what went wrong, and what is in store for the future of the city's transit plan.
There is a lot of potential for this system since the city is growing and the city is used to commuting through public transit. However, if there continues to be problems with these big capital projects with taxpayer money, the perception of LRT and public transit in general might not look too great.
