I don’t think it’s the gap from bowl to mouth. You won’t allow it stop dripping or allow it to settle before you throw it in your mouth. Just like your drinks, you hurry to pour it, then it gets all over the table. Just like the drinks you throw in your cup, the same thing happens when you throw the food in your mouth, it gets all over your shirt.
