Salvation is only what Jesus has done on the cross. But out of our love for Him and others, we would keep the Ten. It's not to saved us, but because we are saved, we obey. Bible says if we break one, we break them all meaning it doesn't matter if we steal, etc.

Repentance of sin. What is sin? Sin is breaking the Ten, any of it. So we repent from breaking it, to overcome sin which is a work of a lifetime.

Jesus says that the only sin that shall not be forgiven men is the BLASPHEMY of the Holy Ghost, which equates to unbelief. You cannot be forgiven if you do not believe in the one forgiving you. You cannot come to God without the Holy Spirit drawing you. Yes, God loves us so much that he Seeks for us...and waits patiently for us to accept his free gift. The Greatest GIFT. A gift is not earned, just received. Believe and receive...God will change our hearts...what a MIGHTY GOD we serve.

Sabbath came "after" the crucifixion (cross), not "at" the cross. Some say it was done away with. It wasn't. It is a gift from God. The Israelites had no rest under Pharoah's burden, so God delivered them to restore "His" day of rest as a gift for us. Papal rule changed it to Sunday to worship the sun god (Sunday) under Constantine.

Like that-grace and love helps us overcome sin. Out of our love for Him, we would keep the Ten Commandments. Ceremonial law was done away with. But the Ten in Roman's 7:12 says the Ten is good, Holy and just. If we believe it's wrong to steal, then the other 9 is just as important to God. How is it people want to keep only 9 out of ten? No one has obtained perfection, but we attempt to follow even the 4th one.

Thank you for your interest in BibleTalk.tv. In response to your comments, I would mention 2 things: 1. Jesus has fulfilled the whole Law (Matt.5:17) and has become our Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4:9-10) therefore anyone in Christ (Galatians 3:26) has entered and fulfilled the Sabbath requirement of which the Old Testament observance was only a shadow and done away with when Christ came. 2. If one insists on keeping the Law in practice of the Sabbath they must therefore keep the whole Law as in animal sacrifice and purification rites etc. because the Law says that if you are guilty in disobeying or ignoring any part of the Law you are guilty of disobeying all of it (James 2:10). Our faith in Christ provides us with the complete righteousness that the keeping of the Law could not and was never meant to accomplish (Romans 3:21-26). The Law and its requirements has served its purpose, we are now free of its demands through faith in Christ and obedience to His will which does not include the keeping of the Sabbath (Galatians 5:1). 613 ceremonial law were done away with, not the moral law. "Testimony" is the law or Ten Commandments, see Exodus 31:18 he gave to Moses, two tables of "testimony," written with the finger of God. 2 Chronicles 24 :20 Thus says God: ‘Why do you transgress the commandments of the Lord, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord, He also has forsaken you.’ They stoned the priest' son within the temple court of the Lord meaning they rejected the Lord. Romans 8:7 For the heart of the flesh is hostile to God; for it does not keep the law of God. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Though we are not under the law, we are not to be lawless toward Christ either. The cost of Jesus' sacrifice makes us willing to submit to His great love through obedience. We want to follow Jesus, who also followed the law, as our Example. We do not want to follow Satan, the lawless one, to be lawless toward Christ.
