Wow your colour choices for this one are so nice. I wish I had Neocolor II set but I might try this with my FC Albrecht Durer instead. Thanks for all your colour along vids. They are so relaxing, inspiring, and above all helpful!

Thank you so much, it’s masking fluid. I show you the technique at the beginning of the video. I splatter it on and rub it off with my finger 😁

Hi Karen, fantastic video and coloring. Just wish that it was real time. You use a water brush over the neo color ii and then apply it on the coloring page, wouldn't it seep through to the opposite page?

No there was no bleed through at all, Kerby’s books take water really well 😁

Hmm I’ve used neocolors on a background in Enchanted Forest with no bleed through but as I was fixing an old WIP I used gesso to cover up underneath. It didn’t bleed through but gesso would help to prevent that. I did use distress watercolor pencils in rooms of wonder, same technique, same amount of water and didn’t have an issue.

I'm following along on the background but I don't think my Neo IIs are nearly as bright as yours. You did two layers and I'm on my third and still not as vibrant. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm still pretty new with this medium.

Ohhh so usually 2 layers make them really pigmented and vibrant for me. Are you laying down a similar amount of colour to me? I do have a video in my beginners playlist talking through how I use my Neocolor II’s that might be helpful.
