Love that you do all of the colors first! If i don't have them, I just Google the color and pick the shade that's is most similar that I have. You are amazing and I love, love, love to color along with you. Thank you for everything you do.

I had already completed most of the scales before you posted this video. However, I watched your shading and color changes which inspired me to touch up what I had already completed. Now I'm seeing more things I can do. I'll be looking at part two for more ideas. Thanks for doing this page.

How you take this image and change it into a masterpiece is beyond me. The preparation you must do to pick colours and work out what you lay done where must take you forever. A colourist of note, exceptional!

Thank you so much, yes the choosing of the colour combos sometimes takes longer than the actually colouring. For about a week I had this guy planned in mermaid tail pastel colours lol

Love how Karen has a way of de-cyphering kerby rosane's illustrations for us. This book is truly remarkable. Wondering always which will be next up. May I put in my vote for the Egyptian Cat?

Hi hun, OMG I bet you were so happy to finally have that Orange pencil in your hand. Was it 6 colours in total that you used from black to orange? Your are amazing and only because I found you colouring the Lion from this book, that was it you had me mesmerised and addicted to watching you colour in this book. I have now finished the Lion page (thanks to your tutorial) and I’m half way through the Sloth page again by watching your tutorials gave me the confidence to give it ago myself. Please keep videos coming for Worlds within Worlds as there’s just so many amazing pages. I hope to complete many more pages by getting hints n tips on how to get started with each page, then once I’m confident I carry on myself whilst watching another of your tutorials xxxx best colourist I’ve seen so far with all the Kerby books Thanks again Nessa Manchester UK xxxx

@@MyColourfulCountryLife whoo hoo I’ve just finished this picture, well as far as ya video goes. Did you not do a video for the rest of it as I’ve searched but can’t find it. I’ll add a picture of it on ya Facebook group. I really can’t thank you enough. I found ya tutorials just at the right moment and it’s given me so much happiness and eased my anxiety so much. I’ve been making cards for over 20 years but can no longer sit at my craft table, but colouring I can do in bed where I am majority of the time. I thank you so much - gonna have to go it alone on the spikes and eye on this amazing page xx

Do you look at a color wheel prior to choosing your colored pencils?
@MyColourfulCountryLife Жыл бұрын
No, I normally work it out in my head. But I do find myself subconsciously using colour theory when I choose my colours 😊
