Colour Challenge Box Tutorial using Artistry Blooms

Delicious colors! Reminds me of Italian Ices or cotton candy or sorbet! Think of a field of flowers or a beautiful flower garden, all the beautiful colors of Mother Natures palette blend so perfectly.

I made a similar box these days, but with 8x8" paper only. This will be a wedding gift for a colleague.Messed up the first lid, as I eyeballed how much to move the paper out and it was irregular. Noticed it of course by glueing it together. Plus, the lid didn't fit (too small). No more experiments like this, next time I measured exactly 1/8" and it was fine. As for colours, I used the DSP form the Golden Honey, so it was for Whisper White, Gold and to add a little bit of colour pop, I bedded my sentiment on Cherry Cobbler.

Beautiful box and came at just the right time too as I've been asked by my daughter to do a box for a friend's birthday ha. I always love the boxes you do as Yr instructions are always so clear. So fingers crossed I can get this one right 😊. Thanks for this tutorial xx

Have you thought of re enforcing the box base too as it's quite large and weak. Love the project though... Good for Cristmas, ! x

yes and no. Our cardstock is usually ok, but on the odd occasion, I've reinforced the base with just a piece of card x

OK, great color choices Jack. Jack also picked the paper, correct? Love the purplish, pinkish, orangeish side... not so fond of the reverse. Might like it better if it had a weathered look. I can visualize it as faded, peeling paint on an old seaside shack. lol. Anyway good project, nicely done. Thank youfor reminding as to why it's good to rotate the paper when cutting the corners. Had to banish one of my cats from the office earlier... investigating where he knows he's not to go... his way of telling me he's ready for a snack or a rub. Thankfully the stack of paper did not fall! So, will we be seeing Jack creating a project? You all have a Fantastic Friday and a great weekend.
