I love this page in Kirby's book but have been too scared to color it yet. I love how you break stuff down in to small bits to make things not seem so overwhelming!!! You are giving me hope that I can follow along!!!💚

@@TheColourCave I just have to figure out what pecils I am going to use. The CA Gold ones are 60.00 US right now so that isn't an option. loll I have other options so will try a few out on his paper which ones to use that I have and go from there!

Not sure what pencils you have, but I enjoy using Artezas and Prismas on this paper too.

I enjoy colouring in Johanna's Enchanted Forrest a lot. I haven't started anything in Ivy and the inky butterfly... but I have just coloured the very first page in World of Flowers and I've found the paper to be quite smooth, which made layering and blending colours not as enjoyable as I remember it from Enchanted Forrest. But I love the images in World of Flowers. :) I don't think I'd have the patience for a background in coloured pencil 😅

Hullo Gem, I am enjoying watching your coloring content. I have watched the penguins coloring videos, yet if I do watch it again for a second time, do you get credits for the view if I have already watched it? I have gotten conflicting opinions about this and I am curious about this. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and techniques for coloring. I have recently purchased a coloring book just so I can have a book to tryout some of your techniques. I have used several of the different things that you have used in other videos and even been reminded of an idea or method that I have not used in many years, so thanks for sharing your wonderful coloring pages with everyone. Yes. One of the metrics we see is view hours, and that doesn't discriminate. We can also see 'unique' views vs total views, so the second figure would include repeat views. We earn money from the ads though, so it's more about that. Naturally the longer someone watches, the more likely they are to see ads, regardless of whether it's a first or second (or third!) watch-through. For those who pay for KZbin, we get a percentage based on how long people have spent watching our videos. Most of my revenue comes from ads, not KZbin Premium users. I had read at one point that there is a flagging algorithm, so if a video was put on repeat for hours and hours from the same IP/YT login it wouldn't be counted. If I watch my own videos that also doesn't count. I assume this is to stop people rinsing the system for money. I'd love to know what type of colouring book you have purchased!
