It would be great if the color code showed up next to the name of a match when you are on their individual profile. In the same manner that the pink dot automaticallybwoyls die next to all my maternal matches (since my mom has tested)

Some of the words you say sound so kiwi!

Haha, I believe there is some overlap with the South African and New Zealand accents!

How did you get the tags Mother's Side and Father's Side, Both Sides ???
@MatthewBode5 жыл бұрын
They populated automatically as I've had both my parents tested.

@@MatthewBode Thank you. My mother is deceased and only my father has tested. Will use the color codes to help. Your video was very helpful.

Where the he’ll do you get pictures of your 5x great grandparents ??

Think I only had two pictures that far back, very grateful for those. I was fortunate enough to inherit quite a few original portraits (12 of 16 at the great-great-grandparent level). You look quite young, I'm sure pictures of all 16 of your great-greats are also floating around somewhere. 😊 In many instances, it's all just a matter of tracing and collaborating with distant relatives.

Started doing my color coding and a lot match on both sides. Is that normal?

Apologies for the belated reply; not sure why I am only seeing this comment now! If you descend from communities with a lot of endogamy, then that would be quite normal.
