Clear as thank you! Question my tramping goto is a lightweight Panasonic Handicam HC-VX1 4k. What are the CST input settings. Is there a chart anywhere as I often get Drone / Phone footage?

I've never used that camera before or even heard of it sorry. My feeling would be, it shoots a compressed format? So use the same settings as the video. Should give you the best results.

Why do you set tone mapping to none in log footage? Because you prefer the ARRi tone?

It's in the video. When working with node base colour management with rec 709 footage. Your input colour space transform would be rec709 instead of your camera profile. Hopefully that makes sense. If not I explain it better in the video. Cheers for watching and commenting

ahh ok, sorry I get what you mean. First off, cheers for the kind words. Honestly helping people in resolve is the main reason I make videos. The project settings were timeline colour space DWG with rec709 output. That's working with nodes though.
