Gorgeous page Lucy. I hope both you and your husband are ok with your blood pressure. I've recently had to start taking medication as mine was a bit on the high side. I've always been grateful to be generally fit and healthy, but sadly these things start happening at our age (I think I'm just a couple of years older than you) and we can't take any chances, especially when it's treatable. As you are filling your angry parrot, I was putting a base coat down on a printout on Springer paper that is thick and wonderful to work with. I am using my Ohuhu Alcohol Pastel set on the most of the page. Small things can be filled in with pencil after. This one is looking like the prettiest grumpy bird I've even seen. 😊

It's tragic! 2 of the books I bought are by Christl Vogl and I know you have shown one of them on your channel, maybe you could do a colour with me in that book sometime! I love the images in her books but I started one and completely fluffed it up so now I'm afraid to color in them because I don't want to ruin any more pages! I'd love to see how you tackle one of her pages, maybe it will give me the inspiration and confidence to have another go at it!

Love this Lucy! You can use the back of your scissors instead of a craft knife. That is what I do as I would probably poke myself if I used a knife.

Well I’m watching and hearing this 7 months later. I hope your hubby is ok and you’ve sorted some of your stuff out. Again I have to say been there done that. 30 years no vacations or any kind of break. My health has suffered finances are bad and my marriage is just about gone down the tubes.
