In an age of concept design and comic books it's so nice to have someone talk about colurtheory.

Right. So I'm not about to get over how you made such a simple-looking sketch turn out so majestic in the end. I guess colors really do make the most, huh.

Once again, Ahmed, thank you very much for sharing this tutorial. I have to admit that the last video about this color construction software was a little bit abstract to me but now, it's crystal clear and I think I'm gonna buy this software to help me understand better colors and lighting. You're great! Thank you.

For some reason this picture makes me think of the girl + the dog hopping into an open top biplane. The girl lowering her goggles and then the dog attempting to, first with his stubby little front paws, then trying to scrape hem down on the side of the plane before finally using his back paws (as though he were scratching his ears in typical dog fashion). I realize this is probably a "cool story bro" but I am hitting "post" anyway. OH, and great video!

Gahh, Color Constructor and this video helped me so much! Now I can design colors and yet keep them grounded to the physics of light.

fantastic video mr ahmed! tho I hope you dont take offense if i say this but l think it would be better if you had left the social media links on for just the first minute instead of the whole video; it was quite distracting haha

Lovely piece :). Just by watching how to use the programs it helps, for instance, I could have been using more of the ambient light in the shadows, which I never thought about. Thanks for the video.

I have gotten a lot better at drawing, but color has been an issue even after watching your color tutorial (don't get me wrong, it was useful!), but I went ahead and decided to buy this program for the use of learning more. Thanks for being so helpful! :D

Hi Ahmed! Your videos are amazing and so helpful! You've sold me on the ColourConstructor, and i'll be trying it out. Will you by any chance be doing another tutorial using the program again? For me, color is one of the toughest things to work with and it's so frustrating. Thank you!

Thanks for this Video Ahmed, after seeing your video I am going and get this program, actually I was on Gumroad looking at it, and the example videos for it are yours. Once I saw that - being a subscriber and knowing how well you are at explaining, things I knew I would get a great description, Thanks brh.

+goku21youtub You can also add Poser and Daz Studio to that list >.
@goku21youtub8 жыл бұрын
***** please don´t use daz or poser :) youll have much more fun and creativity with a real 3d package, if you´re a student you´ll get a free 3 year license on the autodesk production suite
@hamstergirl44448 жыл бұрын
goku21youtub No worries there, I don't need that kind of aggravation, lol...Poser gives me fits, and I'm mad at Daz, don't like the changes they made in their program and policies. That 3 year license has my jaw on the floor, I didn't know about that - but I'm not a student, and 3D modeling is a bit too hard for me - when you get older, it's harder to learn things and your memory retention goes right out the window, hehe. But thank you for taking the time to tell me about that :)

Hello again Ahmed! So, you're finishing this color tutorials series, i'm right? After that, can you do basic tutorials? Like realistic face proportions ( and after how to put style on it ) or how to do good poses and composition, you know? The basics. And how is going your patreon? I'm really excited with your tutorials, you are so good at it! Thanks.

Wow this was amazing! Pretty cool tool, but of course without the knowledge and the skills it''s impossible to get these results. It sucks that your photoshop crashed, but in the end everything seems to have worked out very well :D

A bit late to the party on this. I am super keen to get my hands on something like this but alas I still use photoshop CS6, I don't suppose you know of anything out there that can be used in an older version of Photoshop do you? All the prismatic colour palette tools for photoshop run on CC. Thanks for your time :)

Right now my brain is scattered all across the floor by how color has confused me right now. Im studing color theory, ambient light, and how it affects other colors, if you could explain color in more detail in a future vid, that would be great! (or if someone can link me to any vids explaining color theory and things like that)

Sorry noob question here using photoshop, but how do you keep painting over already colored sections without using a selection tool and it doesn't pixelate the edges, is it some sort of masking effect applied to the layer?
@hannadang33299 жыл бұрын
Tokki Rin Not sure if this will answer your question, but he used Lock Transparency on the layer

:U was messing around a couple of days and found it was the Transparency Lock. Still thank you! :3

My answer might be in this video but I can't watch it at the moment. Is there a way to upload the swatches that you make into photoshop? If so, how?
@diamond-nj6fx9 жыл бұрын
That should definitely be a feature to add but, thank you!
@JazGalaxy9 жыл бұрын
+Ahmed Aldoori You might already know this, but if you select the eye dropper tool and hold down the "alt" key, if you click once inside photoshop and then drag the eyedropper out of the Photoshop window, you can sample colors from outside the program. So if, for instance, you had a color inside your web browser that you wanted to sample, you would alt-click-eyedropper and then scroll the mouse over to the browser window. Let go and Photoshop will pick up the last color that the mouse is hovering over. It saves a lot of time from having to bring photos into photoshop. (or illustrator, in my case)
