Divide and conquer, the uniqueness of south Africa is that the majority of the south African tribes didn't participate in the slave trade , because of that the Dutch brought west Africans , Malaysians etc. to the cape and started that colored crap to try to sow division , many so called coloreds and Malay people sought refuge with the southern tribes escaping the Dutch plantations and opression.

All depends where they are in South Africa. In Kwa Zulu yes, but in Cape Town it is Malay, there's a difference between the two, because even Pakistanis and Bangladeshis don't see themselves as Indian.
