Hi Imogen! I'm a huge fan of the way you color and your color palette choices. They are so soft and muted, almost vintage but not quite I love it. I have a question about one of your pages in Rita Berman's Europe book. It's the page with the pigeons and the post box (with the matching page on the other side like a double page spread). I remember you did a bokeh effect on the background, is there a video or short tutorial you have on how to achieve that effect? I think you used Black Widow pencils on that background but I'm not too sure. I'd appreciate anyone's help if you know the page/video I'm talking about as well!!

@@ColouringKid Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your explanation was so well done and it's been so helpful to pick out my own color palette. You could've just given us the numbers and started coloring but I love how you explained how/why you picked those specific shades. I'm off to try this with my selected Polychromos pencils, fingers crossed it turns out half as well as yours. Seriously yours is the only bokeh/faux bokeh tutorial I've found that doesn't take hours of layering/blending. Thank you very much!!

Oh my beautiful girl I am not an owner of the Holbeins or beautiful planet. However, the book has gone to the top of the purchase ASAP list and as for pencils I do have both the soft touch and the gold from Castle arts as well as the umbra creative macaron and Miranda sets that should give me a good selection to work with if necessary I can always look in one of my other sets for a similar enough color. Those color cards that you have I have never seen anywhere else and they would be incredibly helpful to me. Is there a way that you could please tell me where I can find these. Because they would make my life so much easier in both my coloring and my original art.
