Yay! These are one of my most used sets of pens this year ( Thanks for the mention💗) I love the nibs on these, they kind of feel like my copic nibs. Ive used my set loads, it even came on holiday with me, and all are still working well. Might be using your code to get a new set though 😁 This was a nice quick background idea👍

I’m using acrylic markers more and more now, I think they’re great to get rid of black lines and for backgrounds too, as a base. Hope you’re having a lovely Easter break x

You Tube suggested I should take a look at your tutorial , great suggestion. I am in a constant hunt for acrylic markers that would work good and wont cost me a kidney as some brands would do lol I think these are great markers . Love the various shades of blue/teal/aqua/mint that would help me to create lovely ombre effect on flowers petals . Like and subscribe , thank you for sharing . I would buy a pack soon Amazon fix their ridiculous " failing to delivery " issue 🙄

They went down so quickly. That’s perfect for a background when you don’t have hours to spend on it.

Great and quick coverage for a quick background. I will be using them for that purpose as well as getting rid of black lines

How do you feel they compare to the Arrtx? I bought a smaller set of the Arrtx when they first came out and found them frustrating.. too opaque to go over line, not opaque enough to cover them, and terribly streaky over large areas.
@ColouringwithK4 ай бұрын
These are a bit more opaque, in my view, compared to the Arrtx

Great pens look really opaque. Was there any bleed through on the back of your colouring page? I have just popped them in my basket! 😇🥰thank you for sharing lovely lady xx😊
@ColouringwithK10 ай бұрын
No bleed through whatsoever, not even shadowing!

Hi K! Thank you for the demo and review! I have been contemplating acrylic markers for some time. Just a note your links don't work for me. Hopefully, it's just something on my end but just a heads up in case!

Do you own symphony of cute animals by Kanokon egusa? I just bought it and I'm scared lol but I want to work in it so badly. I'm scared my colouring will have to mimic reality too much.

I feel the same ‘fear’ the illustrations are stunning and I worry I’ll be disappointed with my work. I do have the book but not coloured in it yet

@@ColouringwithK that's it! Fear! I don't mean I'm terrified of the book slapping me for colouring it wrong ha ha it may go in my too gorgeous to colour pile 😁

If it's the fur that is scaring you, this is the easy way to do fur for me: Pick a few colors from dark to light, at least three, but you can do more on a larger space. Work on one section of the animal at a time, its easier. Look up an image online to help with determining which way the fur grows and where the shadows should be. Starting with the lightest color, apply "flicks" of color from the dark area to the light. Put your pencil tip down, and "flick" it out so there is a tapered end.. practice on a piece of scrap paper first. The biggest issue here is making sure the flicks aren't too long, go the direction they should, aren't laid down in perfectly straight rows (stagger them a bit, so one "row" is in between the one before it), and having a nice sharp pencil.. hard pencils work best but you can use anything as long as you make sure to keep it sharp. Layer each color on top of the next, making each darker layer stop before it covers all of the lighter ones. If your color isn't dark enough, just add more flicks. Finish with a small layer of flicks of a shadow color in areas that overlap.. like where a leg lays over the body. This is a lot of words.. but it's really not hard. Practice on Matchstick Mouse or something before you tackle your more precious book.
