THIS!!!!! They could have done this palette in half the size and all amazing formulas across the board. I have extremely high expectations for this palette... But they have proved they can do amazing large palettes like with Stone Cold Fox, so there is no excuse in this one not being just as good.

Finally! A refreshingly honest review on colourpop. A lot of colourpop focused channels arent mentioning the drop in colourpop's quality. I think this palette has their best color story, truly so well done. Could have been an amazing one, with better performing shadows. Thanks Annette for saying it as it is.

My palette arrived yesterday (I'm in the UK so had to wait a bit). Just had my first play & even though I only used about 11 shades, those 11 shades worked perfectly for me. I haven't ordered from Colourpop in over a year as I find they bring out too much & quality can be hit & miss. But this colour story was so beautiful I had to give them another go! So far I'm happy with it. We'll see as I play with it more... 😊

After starting with ColourPop and recently gaining experience with smaller indie brands, I'm going into this palette with expectations of a soft, romantic, ethereal result rather than highly-pigmented, high-shine looks. (As my skin and hair age, I hope it'll be more flattering.) I think ColourPop has been falling flat recently and I agree: why can't their formula be consistently good across the board? Ok for me . The color story is the best color story they’ve come out with in soooooo long , but then I swatches it and I felt that the colors weren’t nearly as good as they normally are . It’s such a beautiful colour story. I wasn’t tempted to buy it as I try to stay away from larger palettes these days but it definitely caught my eye. We needed the Lunar Beauty 12 Days of Lunar to have this colour story. With that formula it would have been perfection! 💙

Hi, so I loved your first look and the second look. My dad, even though I'm a grown woman, bought this for me for a Hanukkah gift. I told him how much I loved this palette. I fell in love with this palette the first time I saw it. I watched a few videos of looks that they came up with so I can't wait for it to arrive. I sure hope I have better luck with it than you did. Just a little fyi - the shimmery shadow you said saying was dry etc - it's a new formula, it's a "pearlescent" topper type shade, not going to be as strong as that silver metallic.

A lot of people have been loving this, it might just be a quality issue. They had issues in the past with their quality being consistent, maybe a dud? I didn’t pick this up bc I don’t go for their mega palettes. But I loved the Harry Potter palette which is the only 30 pan that I’ve gotten from them since the So Jaded. I just don’t need this one I own almost 30 Colourpop palettes lol I’m good.

I got back into makeup after a long break (15 yrs), and wow, I can't believe how good the drugstore/affordable eye makeup is these days, you are so right, there's no excuse for this dusty, patchy nonsense. Your standards seem appropriate, given what competitors can do at that price. Love your looks, I've recently discovered I love complicated eye makeup and shadows finally come in the intensity & textures that I've been wanting since the 1980s. 2020s cheap but wow shimmer eyeshadow might be my favorite "oooh, I am living in the future now!" thing... It honestly makes up for the flying car lie. Finally creating the looks I envisioned but couldn't get on my skin lol, love the way you use light!!! Makeup is so artsy now, instead of corrective/critical (fixing one's flaws), I love you youngers, you've made a lot of things better.

Well, am gonna say I like the pallet....am very pale skinned and with small eyes and love cool toned pallets and I go very light with the pallet, because am not very good with those kind of shades....I understand your point of view, you are so good with bold, pigmented colours, very creative....but there have to be something for us the not very experienced makeup girls 😊

I don’t trust all CP reviews because some people love everything they put out (never have given them a bad review), even the really bad quality ones (like that candy land collab palette) I think they may be biased because they have codes and get all the PR from them- so I look to them for swatches but I don’t trust their reviews. I’m going to wait on this one, especially since it’s not limited edition. Thanks for your honesty. Also this reminds me of an expanded version of a couple of the Sydney Grace Temptalia palettes.

I was so extremely excited for this palette and absolutely love this color story as well, like it is probably my dream palette if all the shades performed really well and it had some amazing light purple, blue, green, and teal multichrome type shades... Can you make a suggestion of a palette with a similar one that you would recommend? Especially with some of those more "wow" shades like you mentioned you would have liked more for your lid and that kind of thing.

I really feel like the Blend Bunny Lure palette really fills that niche for me. Give Me Glow's Bad Witches Club and Glamlites Scooby-Doo Creeps & Crawls palette gives me the same vibes too. I'm the biggest sucker for pink/purple/blue color stories 😭😫

Someone dm’d the image of this palette to me because I famously love purples, blues and greens. I INSTANTLY wasn’t interested. It looks like mud city to me. Many look like random deepening shades from other palettes. Perhaps more vivid tones could’ve won my interest.

I felt the same way. I bought it because I was so excited about the color story, but with the exception of a couple shades, they’re all dry and lackluster, especially the pinks and purples. That light pink you had a hard time with was the worst in the palette. It was so crumbly and looked like gravel on my eyelids. I’m over colourpop.

I recently de-panned my bare necessities and I did get this pallet. I think the bare necessities may have had a better black, I'm going to retest. If so, going to trade the black in this palette. OR put in a different shade. I don't use black eyeshadow a ton due to me having very hooded, narrow/ but long eyes.

I bought this, found it almost impossible to use, it was way too powdery, the dark colors wouldn't blend at all and the shimmers, other than that one silver, were just a flaky mess....I like Colourpop, but this was a big mistake.....

Its the 33 from rephr, u def dont need a brush that expensive for primer tho, I got it in pr and its nice but just use a large eyeshadow blending brush to blend ur primer, works just as well!

I'm not sure if they're in this palette but I do know that ColourPop has a new glittery shimmer formula. There was one in the ctrl alt glam palette and I wasn't a fan. It felt like dry glitter with a little bit of pigment so it wasn't a plain pressed glitter but I didn't like it. It wouldn't pick up on a brush even dampened. I've also noticed there seems to be some inconsistency in how hard pressed some of their shadows are. The ctrl alt glam was one of the 1st palettes I've bought from them in a long time. And if it hadn't been for how great the star wars palette is I probably wouldn't buy any more. As it is I won't buy any more for awhile and it'll take something special for me to risk it. Which sucks because I use to know that if I got a ColourPop palette it would be good. Now not so much if I buy 2 palettes and one is good and the other is just plain bad. I could deal with it being ok but that ctrl alt glam is awful.

I don’t like big Morphe palettesfor this very reason (inconsistent and overwhelming) so I never bothered to pick up any of their palettes that I thought I was gonna like. If they included some chunky glitters and flaky shadows I may reconsider but they never have enough for me to bother caring. Hmmm. I'm wondering if they are struggling with inconsistency issues when pressing. Two of the KZbin reviewers that I trust love this palette and two now, including you, mentioned drier, non-creamy, hard pressed shadows. They have had try these problems since the All Amethyst and Mandelorian palettes I think. I hate that, because if I can't trust the formula, I won't keep purchasing.

Maybe there's inconsistencies with the production of this palette. There was a KZbinr saying that her All Amethyst palette doesn't swatch like other people's. Colourpop has their own factory so there's really no excuse. I'm nervous about how mine will perform now, it's supposed to be arriving tomorrow

I love how you’re not scared at all of roasting this palette, even in the title and thumbnail. I wish Colourpop went back to 9/12 pans instead of mega palettes. It’s hard to pick 24 shades within a specific color theme that still stand out on the eyes, and low key there’s no need for 24 shades to convey a good theme. All it does is give me selection anxiety when it comes to using the palette 😂

Hate when this happens. Listen ColouPop we need the same Pigment and shimmers as in the plastic 9 pans eye palettes. I have been lucky to grab 24 singles when Covid began. I put all of my 9 pans and keep then in their own home in those magnetic palettes. Also You can remove the colours and switch out ones that are horrible then you can love it for what it has and your own touch.

I love wintery icy colours and I loooove toppers. But I don't think this one looks good 🤔👀 I like soft and light colours too but I still didn't like the swatches and looks I saw of this. Don't think the overall story is that fun. The shimmers look meh. Not glittery or shiny. I'm surprised people seem so excited over it... But honestly CP gets a lot of hype for quality I've seen the same people bash other brands for 🤷‍♀️there's a lot of cutting slack when it comes to CP w a lot of reviewers on here and man I've bought a lot of mediocre CP palettes and products that were hyped up. I never like ColourPop, I gave up on them a couple years ago since every purchase I was wasting my money. Angie said she loved this one and I was interested but yeah, I guess it's how I thought it might work out. The only way I would try their products again is if they were gifted to me. Even their eyebrow micro pencil is such bad quality that it breaks in half, and their eyeliners have always arrived in pieces(every single one, which is like 12 of them) so no thanks.
