Hi Shae! I totally agree with and support your decision to give the deeper products away, I’m of a medium/“tan” skintone and even I find that swatches on much lighter/darker skin tones aren’t really helpful. Just a suggestion, and idk how difficult this would be, maybe also shout out another creator(s) with a deeper skintone who may have swatches instead of just colourpop’s page, because they’ve been unreliable in the past with timely swatches on their site, or they only have swatches on their stories, which is really inconvenient for people who don’t check socials all the time. I’m SO excited for the SS bronzers to come back, they were my favorite product back in the day, and I haven’t found a cream bronzer that compares to them (im still hanging on to my old Kaepop bronzer packaging lol) I also love your kitty stories! I’m moving somewhere that allows pets and I’m thinking of adopting one soon :). On that note + the nail polish comment, I’d like to recommend mooncat as a nailpolish brand, they’re my favorite brand as they have so many unique and beautiful colors, a really nice formula + pretty bottle, and their Instagram is filled with cats :D

shae, give the 3 darker ones to someone that you know who will love and appreciate them. you did the right thing. i get soooo pissed off watching other influencers swatch allllll shades of products KNOWING damn well that it’s not their shade and they’re never going to use it, and it’s already been used!!! anyway, rant over, i’m soooo happy that they released super shock bronzers!!! i picked up the first 3 because i have no idea what shade i am. i’m reallllly excited for the palette, and i’m so mad at myself now for not picking it up with the ss bronzers. i thought it was pretty, but i had no idea that it was this gorgeous, so i left it behind for the next sale so i could pick it up then. i wish i had seen this review one day earlier, but that’s more than ok because i’d rather wait for a sale anyway, and i’m sure it’ll be there. i know colourpop recycles their color stories all the time, but oddly enough i don’t have this color story at all in my little makeup collection. this is going to be one of my favorite palettes as well. ♥️🫶🏼♥️

It's totally your choice but I love that you aren't wasting them. It would be fine if you swatched them with a q tip & still gave to your friend, or just doing what you did is fine too. Hopefully CP is sending PR to ppl with a variety of skin tones who are doing vids. I'm pale too so I come to you for swatches. I have never used bronzer & don't even know how to use it :). I look forward to the BTS super shock swatches even though 3 of the 4 I wanted sold out and I'm just not going to flip out and buy buy buy launch day without thinking about it enough.

I started using The ordinary glycolic liquid scrub every night and all my texture went away n my face got brighter!!! Highly recommend if u are worried ab texture! I got the idea from another MUA blogger who had great results w it too! Idk what voodoo is in that for $10 😆

I think not swatching the bronzers is fine. If you ever want to do all of them try them on the eyes. I buy the face products for that since they discontinued most of their matte supershock colors and I love them.

I understand not doing face swatches with the bronzers, and face swatches are your thing. Colourpop is not good with swatches on their site, but there are some creators who do hand swatches on top of it.

I like that you didn't use the bronzers - now if you want you can give it to someone you know who wants it. If there are other products in the future like that I think you should do the same. Either just say there were other shades you couldn't swatch or show them in like how you did in this video and leave it untouched for other people with darker skin to see if that is something they want to try out. I as a person with darker skin I love your swatch videos but to be honest I am mostly just here for you, your commentary and to see how you are feeling with the products so far.

This collection doesn’t excite me but I love your eye swatches. I actually appreciate that you aren’t even swatching the darker bronzers because then you can share the goods. Maybe if you just include the swatches from Colourpops page as like a one stop thing. But whatever you decide I’m totally okay with and I think most of your viewers would agree with me. I’m a little disappointed that the lightest bronzer shade isn’t available at Ulta, yet anyway.

I PERSONALLY would prefer you swatch them. I’m always looking for the PERFECT (for me) toned eyeshadow/shadow to liner & one of those may just be it. I don’t use the bronzers just for a bronzer.
