Hi Judy I think I can help with the pronunciations🥰 Boutonnière is pronounced “boo-ton-near” . It’s the flower men wear on their tuxedos to prom or a wedding. Marguerite is pronounced “mar-guh-reet” It’s a girls name (usually). Think margarita ☺️ Chamomile is pronounced a couple of ways depending on where you are. It’s an flower herb that’s used in tea. Usually people drink it for it’s calming qualities. 1) “cam-oh-mile” - my aunt from the UK says it like this 2)”cam-uh-meal” -this is how most in the US pronounce it and how I say it 😉. Such a nice video. Great demos. Also, your daisy outfit is precious -a mix of delicate and feminine loveliness. Thank you for showing us this release. 🌼

Also! I'd like to add "idyllic" is an actual word. It's pronounced "I-deel-ik" (I don't really know how to type pronunciation ehe) and it means peaceful/picturesque.

Idyllic is actually pronounced “eye-dil-lic” :) that being said I can understand the hesitation to say an unfamiliar word while filming. There’s often multiple pronunciations and the chance of still saying it wrong even after looking it up!

Thank you so much! I loved all 3 looks. The 1st and 2nd I adored. By using the palette as you do, you can see how diverse the palette is. I’m not one for greens, but how you used it in the 2nd look really inspired me! It is also so helpful to see the lip stains on actual lips. I’m a sucker for a red with a blue base. I have a little app from Google on my phone. You type in the word and it tells you what language it is & you hit the speaker and it pronounces the word for you. The pronunciation is US. A lot of words are based on French words in makeup so I hit the French pronunciation. I speak a little French. I always enjoy your videos so much. 🌹🌹🌹

I say this completely honestly and meaning no harm, English is my second language and i have personally done this multiple times myself. But i think it would help a lot if you googled the shade names you don't know. Sometimes you spell it or just don't say anything at all, and when you google it you can even play the pronunciation of the words back so you don't have to leave this whole empty space in your voice over.

I agree (with all and also absolutely no bad intentions here!), nothing wrong with just not knowing how to pronounce/spell words, in our native, 2nd, 3rd or whichever language. But not checking it leaves us not knowing. 😁 I actually like when brands come up with interesting names for products, even if unrelated to the product itself, because then I learn. For the same reason I also love watching Hannah Louise Poston, it‘s almost an education channel for me with her broad vocabulary and incredible descriptiveness 🤣

I’m happy with my BH cosmetics citrine palette it’s Almost dupe for this CP daisy minus the icy green ! I’m thinking of redoing this palette though, it can handle some duo chromes & multi-chromes too , nice yellows & greens & I’ll allow some peachy orange tones to act like the warmth of the sun shine !

I knew I'm gonna love this collection and your review just confirmed it! i love your reviews, the looks you chose are diverse and always show the full range of the collection and they’re really informative but i wish you’d look up the names you don’t know. it’s okay to not just already know because no one knows every word but it’s really quick and easy to look up pronunciations and definitions now and at least try to say the word. it would be so helpful to actually know all of the shade names and make the reviews a lot more thorough.

@@j.uuuuudy i really appreciate you taking the feedback! i totally understand because i get words wrong and forget words that i do know a lot. i wonder if uk pronunciations might be more helpful because even tho i know your accent is very different from a british one, the way certain sounds are pronounced are usually more similar than US and when you look stuff up it’ll often just have those two right away.

You might want to just google the word definitions and pronunciations before videos. I think Colourpop did quite a nice job with the names and idyllic (ideal/heavenly) and chamomile (a flower that looks a lot like daisies) were really appropriate for the collection.
