I’m really surprised there’s not a ton of videos online yet for this. It feels like I saw the video on it, saying it was being released on the day that it was released and absolutely no reviews or swatches online yet.

As someone who has been waiting for their wine palette to be restocked, this one looks like a decent replacement with additional interesting colors! Romantasy is not my cup of tea as the tropes in them are tired and some are honestly quite problematic; give a good plot, not 🌶️. Anyway, I will be picking this one up, there’s nothing like it in my collection which leans mostly into the murky, mossy, autumnal color stories. Ooooh! Just thinking how combining Undergrowth by CB with some of these deep berry colors has me excited!

@@teresamulhern Like you said we probably have all these colors in other palettes but I’m obsessed with the packaging ! Haven’t read the books but my adult daughter is obsessed with them and is always bugging me to read them. One of the male characters is so manly and romantic she says he makes Jaime of Outlander seem boring! I’m infatuated with Jaime so I will definitely have to read the books lol

I don't know what it is, maybe the packaging, but its giving a little higher end for colourpop.

I do like that colour story. I'm not gonna get it, but I do think it's really pretty, but colourpop isn't really a brand I'm super interested in. There are other indie brands I'd like to try before them. I am on the 3rd book in that series. I didn't even know it was super popular, I just was looking for audiobooks on my library app and got it. I've been enjoying them

Same here - colourpop just aren't really "wowing" me - and their formula is just "so-so". Oooh, I must check out the books, because a few people have told me they're good now.

Wow it is out of stock already! I have the Chucky Glamlite palette so I passed. Also, it looks like or has 2 pressed glitters or glitter filled eyeshadow. I wish that would stop putting unsafe glitters in their eyeshadow. I depot and put them in a separate z palette to use on my nails.

God yeah, they’ve put so many glitters into their palettes in the past- it’s mad- and they get around it by saying “oh, it’s a fade palette too!”

@ They need to put that the glitters can damage the cornea on their palettes along with not safe for use on immediate eye area in larger font. Teens and young adults who are just getting into makeup may not know. But I’m sure they care more about sales than customer safety like most corporations.

It’s so funny that cool tones are so pervasive now- there was a time where it was all warm toned palettes- it just shows that these things tend to cycle in and out! Oh my goodness- where in Ireland does your family come from?

@@teresamulhern Apparently, Cork. But I don't have any relatives in Ireland. My aunt and said that there were lots of Moriartys'. It's a really rare name where I live in Minnesota, USA. I'm a teacher just like you. I am a social work Professor at a local University.

@@sheilamoriarty3169 Oh - Cork is BEAUTIFUL (known as the Rebel county) - and actually, if that's where your family came from, it's not that surprising that there's none left as it would have been a big town to emigrate from (think of Cobh Harbour where the Titanic sailed from). Stop!! You teach social work? I'm teaching on a social care program - I'm part of the multidisciplinary team. How funny is that?!

That's a beautiful cover! I haven't seen a cover I've liked from CP in awhile. I'm not a romantasy reader, but like this color story. I have all these shades in better quality, but think it's great for a beginner and/or someone who doesn't want to pay +$40 for a palette. I still have my CP Wine and Only palette, but it has too many similar shades for a 9 pan. This new palette is def a more versatile burgundy palette.

The packaging and the wording and even the post "There you are, I've been looking for you." 100% seemed like ACOTAR. And then they revealed it and honestly me being a HUGEEEEE fan of the series am disappointed that everything pointed it towards being ACOTAR but it's actually not related. Just hints. I would have loved a full ACOTAR collection. Not sure what the issue is. Why they tried bypassing the IP 😓 I was 100% gonna get it earlier during the tease but now I'm not sure. I have all these colours except the duochrome one maybe but I wanted it more for the sentimental value of the Collab not the colours! 😓😓 I'm quite sad tbh! 😭😭

The shade names 100% sound like your regular trashy fae fantasy romance. Maybe they didn't wanna pay for an IP. They all use the same recycled tropes and storylines so it's not like it's unique to ACOTAR

Oh it’s so generic- but apparently some of the lines that they used to introduce it were stuff from the series (I wouldn’t know as I didn’t read them)- but I get why people would be miffed
