I think overall the colours are so cute, I wish they would name the shades with more relation to animal crossing too. Lots of brands seem to hit the mark with the collection name and branding but then just use oddly generic shade names 🧐 You look stunning though!

I think they add a bit of shimmer to the matte because it helps the blendability, but I would very well be wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

No you are actually correct! I heard this before too from several people! It makes sense I just think it’s funny how it never actually shows on the lid 😂😂

They do add SHIMMER for blendability which is why a lot of older eyeshadows were satin instead of matte but a matte with GLITTER has no blend purpose- it’s just weird. A fad I personally do not understand!!

I have read that a little bit of sparkle makes mattes blend better. Not sure if that's true, but those shades always work well for me, and they looked very smoothly blended in both of your looks. 💜💙

Animal crossing is super fun and it's a time killer for sure, however you have to put a lot of work into your island. There was a reason it was SUPER popular last Spring when Quarantine first started. I recommend you play AFTER Easter because the Easter event the have is annoying as hell.
