Your videos are an excellent resource. If I am doing a 1D LUT followed by a 3D LUT for a JVC projector would the MPVM only be done on the 3D characterization prior to LUT generation?

Probe Matching must be applied to all measurements made to generate any LUT used for calibration on a given display.

Thnaks. Don't understand 13:44? I have to do a probe match after calibration???

As it says, if the gamut changes dramatically, it is best to match probes on the reduced gamut. As with ColourSpace probe matching can be done any time - retrospectively for example - it is a simple process to perform. You can then just re-generate the LUT, without any further profiling required. This is not possible with any alternative calibration system.

Do i have to make a full ddc reset on a LG oled before profiling?

Does SDR probe matching work when your calibrating HDR too? Or do a separate HDR probe matching needed for HDR calibration?

Probe matching should be done on the display when in an uncalibrated, native state, so SDR vs. HRD is actually irrelevant. It's all the same - unless you are are using a WOLED, and then you need to make sure the probe matching is done when the displays is not set to a high peak luma, as all WOLEDs suffer gamut reduction with such high brightness settings.

Does it matter what nits the pattern is if I'm using an external pattern? Is 75% or 100% pattern preferred or does it matter? Thanks!

You should not use 100% as there may be channel clipping on the display.
