Thank you, thank you, thank you. THE best Rosanes book ever. I think I’m going to buy two… one to color and make my own and one to keep original as a collective for future viewing. This would be a nice companion to a book on fairy tales… maybe Kirby could even create a companion piece of fairy tales represented as in popular folklore.. two volumes if you will. I can’t wait until it goes on sale.

Wow wow! It's even better that I imagined and actually more gruesome than I thought. It's almost TOO much/overwhelming as a whole. What a creative man. I even think it could stand alone as more of a regular story book in someone's bookshelf, for example for people who are not into colouring and just like this kind of theme.

Love all of his books, but this is my favourite so far. I love how he grabbed the Dark Side of the fairy tales. When I was young, I was shocked how different the original versions of the well-known tales are (so not the Disney version but the Andersen tales for example...) but now, I love them more. They are way more interesting and show you the reality and thinking way, imagination and fears of a nation who created them. Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan are amoung my favs, they are faaaar not about what we first thing they are😁 Great work Kerby👌 Thank you for the video, I learned about tales I did not even know before.

I was torn between watching your review and waiting until March to see the book for the first time when my copy arrived, but I finally gave in and I'm so glad I did, seeing inside the book has made me even more excited for it! Love your reviews as always Claire, I love looking through the book along with you and this is definitely Kerby's best book yet, it's so amazing and I love the darker imagery and the twists he's given the stories. I'm glad I pre-ordered two copies as there's so many different ways the pages can be interpreted colour wise and I can't wait until March😍😁

What an amazing book - I love that the stories go over several pages and what a great idea to include vertical ones! I had forgotten about some of these tales, I loved reading the really gory original versions when I was a child… I can’t wait to get my pre-ordered copy in March!!

I admit that at first from the previews I didn't think this book would be my taste, but after watching the flip through I think it is amazing. There are a few that look dull but the majority of them are superb and I am going to buy it. By the amount of details in some of the pages it will take me 40 years to finish this lol

Thank you, Claire! I am so excited to see a real flip through of this highly anticipated coloring book by Kerry Rosanes! I absolutely love the more intricate designs, they might seem to show a "darker" style overall but I thinks that's more to do with the amount of details he's added on these double spread pages. I have 2 copies of each of his previous books, one to color into and one to just enjoy for his artwork. On a few I even have 1 US published book and 1 UK published book as I was curious about actual paper thickness and possibility of using water based mediums. Perhaps these designs are too small for Neocolor 2, but I am happily dreaming of Inktense, Albrecht Durer, Supracolour 2, and Museum Aquarelles.... I pre-ordered late last year as I was SO excited to see a new creation by Mr. Rosanes. I must admidt that the only title that wasn't for me was the outer space & their lands and creatures. Thank yo, thank you, thank you for releasing this flip through!!!! Ill be buying a 2 nd copy of this coloring book printed by LOM ART in the UK. I can't wait!!!! Joy will fill the lands everywhere, we will be so happy with our coloring n that wars will stop, hospital wards will feel a bit better to have these books donated along with packages of colored pencils.... Blessed out!!!

I am all over this one. It's just.. words escape me. I've always liked his darker side, and there is just so much packed into this book. I'm not even sure what I like best. I think the biggest surprise was Cinderella, which isn't my favorite fairytale but those two pages are so dark and just gorgeous.

Gosh some of these are quite dark! I love the twist on these. I adore Kerby's colouring books. I personally love your talking walk-through the book. Your videos are very comforting somehow, and I just love your chill way of doing things. Everything is TikTok speed these days, but colouring is about slowing down, so your videos are perfect as they are!

Thanks for the review Claire! I don't usually buy horror type coloring books (even if I do listen to horror movies) but I'm glad I pre-ordrered this one. Even if some pages are more gruesome than I'd like, I still love his work and the twist he gave to the fairytales. I can just admire the art work If I can't color it! Beautifully illustrated but not for me, I cancelled my pre-order after the flipthrough, so thanks for that Claire. There's too much "horror" and not enough "fairy tale" in the images for me. Plus the additional complicated intricacies make it one I know I wouldn't ever pick up.

I preordered Alien Worlds and was highly disappointed with it and should have returned it. I decided to chance this one and pre-order but I will be canceling it. While his detailed work is fantastic this is not a book for everyone. The heavy detail is a bit much on some pages and the dark theme is too dark. I believe the darkness of it will hurt his sales. I do however look forward to seeing the finished pages by everyone.

Claire, as usual, your reviews are superb. One could fall in love with a book just from your reviews. While i like "Dark" (a long time fan of Alan Robert), alas, I will not get this book. There are only a few pages I could color. Too much detail on a lot of pages. I am 73 now, and though I love coloring, and in pencil mostly, i want to produce quality and quantity quickly, and not spend a week on one page
