Why aren't there more Female OB/GYNs doing these type of videos. I sure don't want some male doctor doing this to my wife

+anxious one So you're more concerned by the gender of your physician than their qualifications? Interesting choice. I'd rather have a doctor who listened to me, took a good history, performed a good physical exam, and then honestly discussed his findings and recommendations with me, regardless of their gender. In the above video, a male doctor (probably a pretty good one) has taken time out of his busy practice schedule in order to share some useful information with women who may be concerned about their upcoming colposcopy. He does this free of charge, and in the hopes that these women will be well informed and put at ease, even though the vast majority of people who view this video are not even his patients. Yet the only thing that you seem to have taken away from this is that he's a guy.

My Doctor is male and he is really professional. I know some women who won't go to a male Gynecologist. I think it's juvenile, but to each their own. If your wife trusts her doctor, don't give her a hard time.
