slick boots is very weird. With Colt's super, you break open the map, so magnum special gets value. But in certain matchups, slick boots + reload gadget helps, such as with snipers or on a bushier map with unbreakable walls (that colt is bad on anyway). If you're playing against a max, slick boots is a must, otherwise u just get stomped on.

@surgekongskibidi 3m later, and I'm now a barley main and totally forgot how to play colt. Yea, u can mix and match. I think learning how to play all of them is incredibly important. Understanding his builds can make colt incredibly versatile. Honestly, it might be one of the best brawlers for "X only to masters"
