While working in the JC Penny Fairbanks, Alaska sporting goods department, I bought a 4" python for $273.50 less my employee 25 % discount. The year(s) were between 1975-77. Unfortunately, I ended up selling it. Pythons were hard to get, so my boss ordered 100 of them in every barrel length. Guess what? We got all 100. The pipeline was being built so people had lots of money. We sold them all!

Nice addition. Was it shot before you bought it? Are you going to take it to the range and shoot it? Was blued the only model?

It had a few rounds through it but it's very hard to tell. No the the gun will never be fired, opened or have the trigger pulled from this point forward. They didn't offer the option of nickle until 1969.

Great informative video! Thank you. Please can you help me with a query: I have been offered a Python snub, it appears to be 100% authentic however the rampant horse stamp is not in the same position as every model I have seen online. It appears to be 1cm+ to the right if the barrel is pointing to the left. Have you seen variation on the position of the stamp or should this be a red flag?

Mexico GoPro Moto I don’t know about that but I will tell you the guy at colt archive is very helpful with that sort of thing. And caution you not to buy one without a letter.
