I don't know whether you'll see this comment or not, but I'll say it. Today, if I know anything about web developemnt, it is because of you. I took your course on udemy. It helped me a lot. Apart from the technical concepts, your way of explaining things, your attitude is the Main take away for me. Like...we don't have to know and understand everything, apart from what's really needed to get it working...if needed we'll get to know them with the time being, being able to google things and not feel guilty about it, YOUR HUMILITY.....things like these...are the main take away for me...only with correct attitude and commitment you can acheive something. And, I've learnt those two things from you...THANK YOU COLT ❤❤

When I was at university, I remember sometimes when it was a boring lecture me and my friends would play games on our laptops or phones instead of listening to the teacher. In the front row of the lecture hall there would be 1 or 2 older students who would be taking pages of notes, staying behind and asking questions from the teacher, going to the library after the lecture and practicing. Those older students probably had kids, mortgages and wanted a career change, they could not afford to play around. Many companies understand this and have no problem in hiring people who are a little older.

Colt, I am truly sorry that Rusty has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I am sure your heart hurts but inside you know you made the right decision to keep him from suffering. He is carefree and healthy now and always will be. For those of us who have had to make that difficult choice it is never easy. Take comfort in knowing that you will see him again someday. Thank you for all that you do to help your students become proficient Web developers... I think these glimpses into your private life show your character and type of man you are. Very inspiring. Thank you, Colt! I'm just now starting your *new* Web Developer" course on Udemy -- very excited and eager! I intend to add your percentage of course alumni who have successfully become employed as Web developers. Blessings to you and the rest of our class!

6 minutes into this and i couldn't believe how accurate your answer was about getting burnt out. My learning journey so far: sped up, then slowed down because of the harder stuff, then sped up again, now i'm sort of retracking my steps. I actually attended a bootcamp at GA in London and graduated just before lockdown struck here earlier this year. It was a bit of a bummer, but i've been spending this year e-learning thanks to you! Thank you SO much for putting so much into your courses- they have been invaluable to me (I purchased the JS, React, Bootstrap, and Web Dev courses just to brush up on a few things). You may not have 103858390 different courses like most of the e-instructors on here, but the standard, and quality is incredible. You deserve every success, Colt! And I may have a teeny tiny crush on you after watching this video. Oops.

I've taken a 6 months in-person bootcamp, bought several Udemy/Coursera courses and you still come across as hands down, one of the most passionate teachers that legitimately care about the outcome your students can achieve. Your dedication doesn't go unnoticed by your students! Those computer joint pains suck (my wrist & lower back are destroyed) but you've guided so many of us on our learning journey and built an active, helpful community online that many of us, even after completing most of your early courses are still privately in touch with each other. At the expense of your mental & physical health, thank you for the constant updating of old content and consistent releasing of new content.
