Well Colt ever develop a Colt Custom Shop that will, for example, make a 5 inch custom Colt Anaconda?

The 1917 Colt revolver of World War 1 was chambered in 45-acp that used moon-clips. The Colt non-existent moon-clip was interchangeable with the Smith & Wesson M&P 45-acp revolver. It was a requirement for the military. Moreover a Anaconda would be wonderful in a. 5 inch barrel.😉

Can I send my 4.25" Python back to Colt to install a stronger main spring to lesson light primer strikes with some ammo? I'd rather have a little heavier trigger that shoots everything I fire out of it.

Same problem, but I had mine sent back turns out the cylinder space between a firing pin, and the cylinder was off

Will colt ever make the combat unit 1911 again?

How come Colt will NOT allow a Colt Authorized Dealer order a set of pistols from the factory. My Grandfather was able to and did order Colt Pistols from the factory from his hardware store in South Texas in the 1960's. This made the pistol more personal for his customers. I have a nickel plated .41 long colt SSA that he ordered in 1958 and decided to keep for himself. I would like to order a Consecutive Serial Set (Blued) of the Competition Series 70 Model but every Colt dealer in San Antonio has told me that Colt will not allow them to order from the factory. It is the luck of the draw with their distributors.
