Complimenti veramente, ma dici che hai trovato la lama in un negozio di fiducia? Anch'io vorrei evitare acquisti on-line, forse in qualche armeria - ferramenta. Io volevo farmi un coltello con lama Mora classic. Ciao grazie complimenti.

Si. La lama l'ho trovata in un'armeria in un paese vicino. In ferramenta non saprei se la puoi trovare, onestamente.

Salve, come tratta il corno perchè non assorba sangue all'uso? Pensavo cera o vernice. Ho fatto il primo qualche giorno fa. Grazie

"... assorba sangue all'uso"?!?... la domanda mi inquieta un pochino. Onestamente io non uso nulla di complicato per pulirlo. Lo lavo con acqua calda e poco detersivo per piatti. Al massimo, se devo insistere, uso una spugna per piatti abrasiva o una spazzola per unghie. Per creare un minimo di idrorepellenza (e lucidarlo un poco) ogni tanto ci passo un panno carta imbevuto di poco olio di oliva.

you've used glue to make the knife. is it durable enough?

I used a common two-component epoxy glue. You can find different types and qualities in any DIY store. Normally, after 24h hours it is already sufficiently hard, but in the following days it will continue to harden until it becomes like a "hard" plastic (let's say "plexiglass-like", wanting to give a measure).

how did you make the hole for the blade? with what tools?

Well, I just used a drill. I fixed the horn in a vice and then I drilled it, first with a small tip, then with a larger one, taking care to flare the mouth a little.
