When I saw the title of this video, I thought to come and comment exactly what you did. I'm glad to find someone already said it. Tensions were definitely high around that time. We're lucky we got Hobi back that day. We'll see all our boys soon enough. Less than 7 months now 💜

As far as I have read all leave was cancelled due to recent tensions, hard to be there if you aren’t allowed out!

I will be forever grateful to Jin for rearranging his schedule to be there for Hobi on his discharge day. I realized that it was difficult for the other members to get the time off to greet him in light of what was going on, but I was hoping that they would have all sent him a welcome-home message. Hobi would have found a way. Jin stepped up as the eldest brother so Hobi wouldn’t be alone.

I do not understand comparison in such moments. That is why I think it was very thoughtful of Jin to mention not every Member or Idol in general will make a free hug event after his military service. People and circumstances are different every time. I think it was great for Jin to show up. And the sweet welcome at Hybe as well.

I wanted all of them there, we all did.....however, I know ARMY understand the circumstances 💜. To see his face light up once he saw Jin, made it all worthwhile 🎉😊 I think right now, he's taking care of some business, and also staying low key, while Jin promotes his Solo 😊 I would love to see them sit down afterwards, like RM AND JIMIN did, to discuss it....that would be so special 💜 And am great way for them to do some things together 🎉

Jin being there to receive Jhope on his discharge was really a touching moment .. knowing the others did not get time off to be there for him was hard to watch .. I think it had something to do with NK's narratives at the time, no soldier was given any days off .. we can always count on Jin to fill the gap right 🤗 these guys bond with each other is something to emulate, the world would be a happier place for sure 🥰 thanks Colt, wonderful as always 👏🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

*J-HOPE is one of a kind, he is not good at showing his feelings, he is shy and he doesn't like being the center of attention and when Jin waited for him I'm sure he blushed a lot and that the other members were not there for me it didn't matter as it should for many people and not saying that he is less loved in the group because he is the EMOTIONAL BRIDGE between them and he is more attentive to the needs of others than to himself.❤💜*

Poor jhope. I am sure that secretly he wished for all members to be there. But he understood that it was not up to them. I am happy that Jin came to greet our jhope. It was so sweet and nice 😊

Hi Colt! 👋🏼 I remember on Oct. 15th, (2 days before Hobi was discharged), North Korea had blown up it's inter-Korean road on it's side. I just naturally thought that they would cancel any vacation time for the other soldiers as to be ready for any impending attack. That's why I didn't question the other members not being there. I knew that Hobi would understand that. As for Jin saying it's difficult to get vacation...well I thought he was being careful (militarily speaking) not to say that the guys were probably practicing harder in case of an impending attack (God forbid 🙏🏼) I feel that they all have programmed their vacation time or permission for a day off, for each of the members deployment but this threat from N. Korea put that on hold.

While soldiers have 21 days of leave per year, scheduling that leave is always subject to approval, and the leave approval can be withdrawn by the Army at any time. The chance of war with North Korea is the highest it’s been since 1953. All BTS members currently on active duty are stationed near the border, so they are very much in danger if war does break out. JHope and Jin are probably relieved to have been discharged without having to engage in actual fighting.

It's sad that the other members weren't able to come and support Hobi, but it's totally understandable that it would have been difficult for them to be there. I'm so happy that Jin made sure he was there to welcome Hobi. I'm sure Hobi was very grateful to have him there. I'm not sure if I've missed something but on the Bangtan bomb video it looked like Jin's kidnapping was going to plan and he had lured Hobi into going with him 😆 but then it cut off after that and I'm not sure why they went separately

I was disappointed that all the members weren’t there to greet Hobi but yes, scheduling is hard. Also, maybe if 3 or 4 couldn’t make it, there would be lots of questions. I’m just so happy that Jin was there to greet him. It was very appropriate that he was the first member to greet him 🤗🥰

Obviously, the members would never purposefully miss JHope’s discharge but due to recent North Korea tensions and the explosion of the railroad near the border that happened just two days prior to JHopes discharge it has heightened security measures which denied all military personnel from leave at the time not sure if they have lifted that yet

Yes, they all deserve a huge welcome home and all of the brothers would have been there, but their military duty is priority right now. Escalating threats from North Korea at that time had all vacation times for all soldiers cancelled. I hope they aren't judged by outsiders not understanding the full circumstance. Thank you🙏💜

I bet J-Hope was extra relieved to be discharged at that time, as NK was escalating its threats. Could you imagine, it's your discharge day & your superior walks up & says, "sorry, things are escaling & we need everyone back in here". 😱😄 What a disappointment for all the soldiers that had their days off cancelled. I hope peace comes to us all very soon & looking forward to the safe discharges of the rest of our guys. It's almost 2025, ARMY!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
