I can't believe it's been 9 years since you won Colton. The same year my wife and I got married, but sadly 9 years later she's gone from this world just 2 days before our 9 year anniversary in May. Here I am 5 months later watching a performance I watched with my wife and still stunned by it. This is where I knew you'd for sure be the winner of Idol and I'm so thankful you were for the songs that are helping me through this tragedy and the life of a single father of 3, 1 of which is ours who got baptized along with my 15 year old daughter yesterday. Just wish she was physically with us for it...

I'm still here, after 11 or something years I still listen to you, the first time I heard you was when i was 5 and we we making my new bunk bed in our new house, I never fit in so I always turn to your songs for some reason when I feel a little sad and the the songs cheer me up always, and in 3rd grade I found someone that listened to your songs as well so we talked about our favorite and we eventually became best friends somehow, thanks for the good childhood. God does exist! Last year my father had a heart attack, and the doctors gave their report saying he wasn't going to make it, and if he did he wouldn't be normal, so they said we should let him go. And then we were really starting to lose hope we prayed over him one more time, and my aunt starting to speak in tongues, and she tranlated it after we were done praying.. Saying "Wait on the Lord's report, whom shall you believe?" So we stuck with that, and trusted God, and now he is fully recovered!
