Indeed, it always seem (to us) that God calls us to do the most difficult things, and yes, He does; because, it’s God way of showing us what we cannot do, but what He can. I am of the belief that pretty much any worship song, and even some secular songs (pure and emotional ballads with no “questionable” messages) is directly inspired by the Spirit. Music was created by God so to me it makes sense. If you think about some music and how beautiful and inspirational some songs are (Christian AND secular) you really can see it.
