Colton's Story -- 2016

On a cold night just before Christmas 2015, Emergency caregivers at BC Children's Hospital worked frantically to save the life of a boy named Colton, who was in cardiac arrest. This is Colton's miraculous story.

Payton Lescalleet if you cough and cough without doing anything to stop it, your throat will just shut and you won't be able to breath. That's why you always have to carry around an inhaler, to open your trhoat again if it shuts. I don't why this poor kid went this far before the parents did something.

Asthma can also progress quickly, sometimes faster than people realize. There can be a huge difference between a rough asthma day to collapsing on the floor.
