I have a buckskin grandson of Doc Olena, love buckskin. As for mounting and dismounting, there is no "wrong side"! My horses are trained to be mounted or dismounted from either side. When roping a calf you dismount from the side the rope is on. When in heavy brush or timber, you may have to dismount from either side. Good trainers work to prepare the horse for as many situations as possible. Ringo seems to be a willing partner. With time, he will be a dependable partner. Good explanations on keeping the packs equal in weight. Thanks for sharing your videos.
