I am very impressed with these Columbia winter boots mens (they also have a ladies version)! But let's look at the specs first:
100% Leather and Textile

Rubber sole

Techlite lightweight midsole for long lasting comfort, superior cushioning, and high energy return

Omni-Heat reflective lining
If you are looking for lightweight winter boots that are still nicely insulated and comfortable, these are definitely a great option!
Very lightweight, very comfortable. Columbia hiking boots are one of my favorites in general and these are no exception.
Excellent traction and stability. And the price is unbelievable.

Just got them. Very comfortable, warm and lightweight boots but didn't have chance to test them in harsh conditions.

That was a great review. I've never heard anybody explain it as well as you did. I don't think the soft toes would be a problem since I wear soft toes sneakers anyways. I need flexibility. I hate stiff can't flex boots. This could be perfect for light work.

2 questions: 1) How would you compare this boot, to the Salomon Chalten? 2) Does the foodbed (inner sole) have some kind of thermal insulation or lining, like the rest of the inner boot?

Отходил 2 сезона. Почти сразу начали скрипеть в районе пятки. Думал стелька, оказалось внутри подкладки. В 2х ботинках. Сдал по гарантии, взял другие, через пару дней скрип вылез снова))) начали мокнуть через пол сезона. Нога сухая, но вгешка вся мокрая, сразу вода скатывалась, надо обрабатывать пропиткой. По удобству норм, но для белорусской зимы надо потеплее. Либо использовать оч теплый носок. В этом году купил другие боты, с 400гр утеплитиля на ботинок. За свои деньги, в принципе норм. Но выпирающий клей по кругу немного портит впечатление :(

Last year I had purchased this boots and it was a disaster. Everything was wrong with it. 1-the boots were having a VERY VERY big smell of dye and glue. 2-the boots are very tight at the toes 3-strangely they are very loose at the heel result snow will got there and your socks will be wet 4-they are narrow bottom line I hate those boots for info they were 7us size and I have my left feet 6us and right one 7us true to size. AVOID

Good comment. Well cross that off my list. No wonder cheap below 100. No thanks to that. To many problems. It's such a pain to hunt for a good winter boot. Maybe winter sneakers.

I have these boots and for some reason either my feet sweat or the waterproof doesn't work but my socks end up being damp walking in the rain. So not really waterproof but very comfortable and light.

They have 200g of insulation. Your feet are sweating. They’re winter boots

Your feet are sweating. The boots are waterproof. They're insulated winter boots, they're made for cold conditions. Plus the Omni heat reflects your body heat back to your body. Try learning about the product before you pop off a negative comment.

@@not-a-raccoon Wrong. I know when my feet sweat and when the shoes aren't waterproof. I wear rubber boots and step in a puddle and my feet are dry, I wear crap columbia shoes and step in a puddle and my feet are wet.....common sense right there. ✅️

They do, but if you want max breathability, I'd recommend something that is not insulated.

it is not waterproof. But a plastic bag over it help.... kind of.
