always amazing how far that glacier has retreated in my lifetime, it must be over 1 km. the drive between Jasper and Radium in september with all the colors of fall is my favorite in western Canada.

I agree - when I first was there in 2001 the glacier came much closer to the road with a small lake at its head.

Hello. Do we need to wear winter boots? Is is too slippery? Thanks

We were wearing regular running shoes and it wasn't very slippery but we were walking carefully. Winter boots will always be safer. Thanks for watching.

@@shahedhasnat Just don't wear what I saw once up there - stiletto heeled boots! That was entertaining!

we're going there mid september, how cold would that be on the glacier? do we need to use beanies?

Beanies and warm jacket is needed. It is always cold and windy up on the glacier even in summer. Thanks for watching.
