It’s just sad that In 20+ years this still continues to happen. Schools across America should’ve learned from that and been able to implement better safety and security measures for students/teachers/staff. I was in elementary when the Columbine shooting happened. I grew up in Louisiana, and as a little kid seeing that tragedy on the news, I remember being afraid to go to school. As a child, I had no sense of that they were in a completely different city and state, region. I thought seeing it on the news meant it happened near me. It’s definitely scary. Praying for everyone who has ever had to deal with tragedy or fear while at school or work.

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview and help our students here in Oxford. I hope it brings them some comfort and validation coming from those who understand what they're going through. ❤❤❤

Then you lose all of your friends and everything that is familiar. I can't even imagine what going through this is like.

Nothing against these two ladies who were victims from the emotional and psychological perspective, but I’d like for the mass media to give more coverage to the “uglier” and “forgotten” spectrum of victims such as Mark Taylor and Richard Castaldo,.. The victims here interviewed are CHS teacher, therefore their view of events and, mainly solutions for prevention and mitigation are somewhat biased… Not saying that their voice is not important, but needs to be added to voices of former students who experienced physical injuries and that probably were also bullied just as the perpetrators…

Both these ladies are former CHS students who are now teachers at the school. Their perspective is as valuable as anyone, having first hand experience as a student on April 20, 1999, and also as teachers in 2024 who continue to have second hand school shooting experiences. Mental and emotional trauma is still trauma.

@ min 12:00 the interviewer asks for confirmation of a comment made by “Patrick” (Ireland?) as to whether the clicks disappeared after the event and you can tell they were very short and dry on their answer… I beg to differ based on other victim’s testimonies that confirm that most TCM members or perpetrator’s associates were “strongly encouraged” (AKA forced) to move to another high school for “their own safety”… This is what it really upsets me when I hear one side of the story… Worth to mention how one of them mentions Dave Cullen’s book, which tends to minimize bullying as one of the main contributing factors and follows FBI’s narrative verbatim. Let’s not forget that CHS was, and still is, as a Sports powerhouse, specially in football and Wrestling.
