Man our defense was garbage (NYCFC). But what a blast for the 2nd goal. Really competitive match all around. Respect to the Crew.

Not really garbage. Sands is a beast and played like a veteran. We make some silly mistakes and we end up paying for it. Our biggest flaw on defense is our tendency to dive in and overcommit, when all we need to do is contain and prevent the dribble/cross. Ring has been especially guilty of this in recent games. He's aggressive and passionate, so I think he's looking for that big tackle to send a message. But I think if he played smarter and contained, we wouldn't be so exposed to a counter attack cause once Ring is out of play, there's just too much space behind him.

Steffen getting loaned out isn't a bad thing. He's going to get great experience, and will just continue to develop further into the BEAST he already is. Respect from an NYCFC fan. We're all rooting for him.
