Thanks so much for posting this! With the exception of Chicago, the story African Americans in the upper midwest is something you almost never hear about. I'm in my forties and I only recently learned that Indianapolis has had a vibrant black community since the 1850s. I didn't know anything about the black history of Columbus. Stories like this need to be told.

Funny as a kid i don't remember all this liberalism in Columbus. I moved to the south to escape this revisionist history that keeps getting shown in these clips. i remember a Governor Rhodes. Real or seemingly real republicans that didn't put up with liberal nonsense. The fact is black people and white people in the south are closer to each other now then Columbus ever was. You can thank letting democrats "former slave owners" mind you run things in Columbus. You seem to forget that it was democrats that enslaved black people. Well we don't have that problem in the south where republicans fled to. Take note that all the race riots don't usually happen down here. They happen in the democrat run citys and states. Where the former, "slave owners party" have fooled the mass of black people. Holding their hands while they walk them into hell they left in the south.
