You mean the truth, of how the Native tribes don't have all their lands across all 50 States! You'll only know the truth by the Native elders people and not the history books that are in schools.

Wouldn't you also be apache? Or did you mention the speration just for the story? Genuinely curious because if you knew your great great grandpa, and new his child and new their child until you reached your mom you'd still be apache too

@@alexandrahenderson4368 Blood quantum is a fickle yet straightforward thing. If their Great-Great Grandfather was the only full-blood Apache in their family tree, that would make them 1/16th Apache. So yes they are Apache, but only fractionally. For example, I'm 1/8th Comanche through my Great Grandfather, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm White-Hispanic.
@alexandrahenderson43683 жыл бұрын
@@KPG113 Natives, horses and dogs are the only ones who are based on blood quantum if you don't see an issue with that then you're right YOU aren't native. Native isn't just a bloodline, our tribes and cultures have a mentality, spirituality, language and traditions. If you throw yourself out of that loop then it doesn't matter if you're 100% or 1/128 because in all other ways you're 0%.
@KPG1133 жыл бұрын
@@alexandrahenderson4368 and you worded this in an argumentative way because...? Come correct next time sweetheart. Edit: also tribal membership *is* based on blood quantum. The nation I "belong to" for lack of a better term, has a minimum of 1/8th blood quantum to be considered Comanche. Some are 1/4th like the Kiowa. These requirements are put in place by the tribes/nations themselves. I don't really have ties to them so it'd be wrong for me to join even though I qualify, but you are completely wrong...Blood quantum is used in humans too. All humans, it's just basic fractions to determine one's ethnic makeup. At the end of the day we're all animals anyway.

@Teresa Fernandez yes you are right! It is also very sad that lately, I have found Americans harassing "Mexicans/latin Americans, saying that we can't appreciate Native culture", because it isn't "ours". They think that Mexico/Latin America was only about Mayans and Aztecs...
@i.ivanovich69463 жыл бұрын
@@chainsaw_chio That’s ridiculous, are they like white Americans harassing you ? If, so they are so ignorant and racist, they don’t know nothing about history and how the northern states of Sonora, Chihuahua and Coahuila share so much culture and history with the American southwest, the Tohono O’dhamn nation is between Sonora and Arizona; there’s also Apache people in Chihuahua and Pima, Coahuila has the Kickapoo tribe which originated in Michigan and they also have reservations in Texas and Oklahoma; many live in Coahuila and work in Texas. The Cocopah tribe its also in Yuma and algodones Mexico. True Story, I was haunted by an Indian Spirit in Tallahassee, Fl back in the year 2000. My dog peed on one of the burial mounds, which I did not know what they were. There were no markings at all. This is on the north side of Lake Jackson. When we returned, my neighbor asked me if we went on those mounds, and I said I didn't, but my dog did. That's when he told me all about them (I just moved there). Then he started telling me that (if) we upset the Indian Spirit, then I would see a black bird looking at me near our entry. The next day coming home, I thought about this, so when I got home, I looked up to the tops of the pines, and there he was, a black bird looking at me, and not moving at all! So I got out of the truck, went to the other side of the home (right rear of home) and I quickly darted my head out to look at him. That damn bird was ALREADY looking at me!! Again, he was not moving, he was like a statue, very weird. That night, I was in my home office doing some work, and my dog was in the living room by the fire. Then my high back chair was pushed forward about 6 inches, and the first two thoughts I had, was wow, my dog has some strength tonight, but then it hit me, he isn't that tall to do that!! So when I turned around he wasn't there. I went into living room, and there he was, laying down with his head between his paws, staring down the end of the hall, GROWLING!! If you knew my buddy, you'd know that SOMETHING was there that he saw, but I couldn't. I dragged him down the hall as he back pedaled, but we witnessed nothing more that night. Next day, came home, took my buddy out to pee, and when he went out, he fell over to his side. I felt around to learn where his pain was coming from, and found a growth near his groin. Took him to vet, and the vet said that in order for a hernia to protrude this much (which was about 1.5"), he had to have been kicked!! I didn't say anything, paid the bill, and went straight to my neighbors home to discuss. They laughed when I told him what happened, and said you have been warned! They said if you go again, as another neighbor apparently did, then you will get far worse, like paranormal activities, things being thrown at you, etc. I moved shortly after that!! Look it up, the address is 1853 Copper Axe Trail in Tallahassee, Fla. I see that someone built a home right on the boundary of the protected land, so I am sure they have had their warning experience. I am a believer in Indian mound spirits!!

All the commenters sentimentalizing this tribe need to read some history. The Comanche were known for being extremely violent. This is an interesting dance, and I love reading about the Comanche, but I have no regrets their way of life was terminated. Nobody, not even Comanche alive today, would ever want to live like they did then. The Comanche wiki is sanitized but even there you can read about how violent they were. Someone here called them "peaceful," and I had to respond. Nothing could be further from the truth.
