@@PanthraxIV CS vs competitive CA: 1) Gunplay CS gun play has spray patterns + counter strafing. The gun/gear rules for competitive CA emulates a style of gunplay different from CS. CA’s gunplay is mostly how good your movement is + mouse tracking skill (since the guns do not have one spray pattern) + accurate crosshair placement for headshot tap firing. If you have good movement (using terrain/metal railings when shooting), you create a huge skill gap and thats why theres a high skill floor but even higher skill ceiling in this game. Go look up Poof and Ethan’s Dualtage. You can see them using terrain to their advantage in gunfights. 2) Ghosting When you die, your job as a teammate is not over. You need to gather info for your team in order to execute a mid-round strategy. Ghosting is a double edged sword. The teammate that is alive could be in trash positions that are barely ghostable + you could give bad calls + the enemy could force you to give bad info by doing a fake. Ghosting makes the game a bigger mind game for both teams 3) Sniping The sniping in this game is fun. Feels like COD4 Promod and CSS had a kid. 4) Utility We only have 2 utility. M67 Frag and Smokes (flashbangs too if u wanna count PCM in CA: Classic). The grenade is a 1 hit KO if you are directly in the center of it. The smokes are HUGE but only last 5 seconds. That’s why lineups have been in the game since 2008 as well as why the gameplay is way more fast paced than CS. Since utility is limited, teams need to make the best out of their utility and win aim duels. 5) Maps The map pool is 50/50. There are really bad maps and really good maps. You won’t find map design like this in CS, because these maps fit CA’s gameplay. Best maps are Gray Hammer, Sand Hog, Warhead, and Piazza

Thanks, inventor of Shoulder Peeking. Hopefully you’ll come back to CA for some scrims for fun 🤝
