One of my favorite details is that Jun only uses extra moves if he’s certain they’ll land or serve use. He only uses his clones to tire out Shinji or distract him, he only uses his weapon if he knows it’ll connect at some point, and he didn’t turn off his power until he was certain Shinji wouldn’t get back up.

In the beginning red guy purposely missed it just to show glimpse of his power. It was just a show of power. Yellow knew the force of reds’s punch the way he looked. Red was holding back his power all along. Maybe I’m wrong
