The M1A2 SEP Abrams against the Russian tanks of Combat Mission Black Sea- T-72B3, T-90A and T-90AM.
This is a weapons effects demo: being capable of penetrating and knocking out static, unresponsive targets does not necessarily translate into battlefield effectiveness against a thinking, moving enemy who shoots back. The damage caused is representative rather than definitive- strange things can happen!

The T-72 ERA seems to stop Abrams rounds 5-10% of the time in my games, generally at odd angles.

its an hypothetical variant of the sepv2 with off-the-shelf LWS and APS addons, and maybe better fcs and thermals, but dont quote me on that, it hovers somewhere between a sepv2 and a sepv3

By this point 2017 the vast majority of M1A2 SEPs were v2s the v3 was just accepted by the U.S. Army in 2017 to replace the v2.

The model in game is just SEPv2 (with older CROWS-2 remote weapon station) with M32 ARAT-2 reactive armor attachment, while the equipment in game as stated above include Laser Warning System and in some tanks Trophy-HV APS While the LWS was tested (and is planned to be implemented into the Abrams platform) and the APS was fielded on a number of SEPv2 tanks, visually none of those systems are modeled on the tanks in game

Yes but at least western tanks have a high survivability so even tho the tank is knocked out the people inside can run out of it and stay alive but Russians are so dumb they put the ammo just around or under people so it's sad that soldiers inside have a high percentage of dying they didn't think of the survivability of people inside

Its a stationary target. The m1a2 has laser rangefinder and "automatic" targetting, so its pretty easy.

The long part of an engagement at that distance with a modern FCS is finding the target (which in this static range is already done). After that, it’s lay gun-lase-“on the way”-boom.

T-90AM is the T-90M, just Proryv-2/2006 model. The one shown in here is a really weird mix of 2010 T-90M turret with a 2016/2017 hull, or if you go way back it's most likely a 2015 MS hull

I m not sure about this but isn't the t 90ms ammocaroucel armoured? Combined with blow out panels does it mean that ammo cooks offs happen on a less common basis compare to the older designs?

It is more armoured. In this particular case, it was probably the ammo in the turret bustle cooking off: the penetrating hit actually went straight down the gun barrel, so bypassed the turret armour.

The ammo can and will still cook off, they only move some of the ammo to blowout racks, the rest is still inside right under the crew 👨‍🚀

There's still ammo inside the turret and it was because of direct hit it was the fragments of penetration causing the ammo to cook off

M829, A1 and A2 can't defeat Kontakt (source: Jane), A3 can, but not with Relikt, or it's a 50/50. While the M829A4 can do all of these reliably
